Covid-19 Policy: Protecting your safety during Covid-19 regulations

Short Lets

A short let is typically a fully furnished property that can be let out from a few weeks to six months, subject to appropriate planning consent. From large country homes to annex’s and apartments there is no restriction on the property type.  As short lets are intended to be a ‘home from home’ bills are usually included and everything will be provided by the landlord so the tenant just arrives with the bare essentials.

If you are a landlord with holiday lets but experiencing void period, if you are a landlord with a cottage or annex in your grounds, or if you are planning to go away for an extended period, then a short let can be a lucrative option. A short let could allow you to relax for the difficult off peak period and increase the yield on the property.

Prospective tenants come to us for a variety of reasons from suddenly needing alternative accommodation due to unexpected circumstances to simply that they need to move to the area for a short term work contract or to try the area before committing on a longer term basis. It could be that they have family and friends visiting from overseas for an extended stay and also require longer than a typical week or so holiday let.

We are very used to dealing with many different scenarios and often organise short term lets.

If you have a property you feel may be suitable for such a let or would like to discuss accommodation you currently let out as holiday accommodation then please do call Kate Morton on 02392 632275 email
