Trotton Traditional Village Fete

August 7, 2018 Kate Porter

Saturday 1st September, 2pm, Trotton Place next to Trotton Church & bridge

Always delighted to sponsor local events, The Country House Company has promoted the Trotton Traditional Village Fete by supplying boards to ensure as many as possible know about the event.

This annual event is one of the more popular village fetes steeped in history and glorious British traditions.

Trotton pioneered the Duck Race down the River Rother with a prize for the lucky winner and a bottle of whisky for the last duck in. Trotton ducks have been Round the World so have fun guessing where they have been.

There are all the traditional attractions of a village fete including home produce, plants, bric-a-brac, bargains, tea & cakes and some different attractions such as hand / arm massage and a silent auction with a cottage for 4 in St Mawes to be bid for, along with other exciting offers.

Full of family fun there will be face painting, pony rides, doughnut tree, games and much more……….

So, for a really fun day out head off to Trotton Place, Trotton, – next to Trotton Church & bridge on Saturday 1st September for a 2pm start.
